Carli's Suspension's 2017-22 Ford Super Duty Commuter 2.0 system is designed for people seeking the best ride on road an in light off road situations.
The 2020+ Ford F250/350 Platform is the same as the 17-19 but they lowered the front 1" and the rear 1"-1.5" depending on the cab configuration and 250/350 designation. For this reason, the only change to the suspension systems will be the stated lift height. The 4.5" Lift Systems from the previous generation, 2017-19, are now 5.5" for the 2020.
The truck will sit 4.5"/5.5" higher in the front and have more wheel travel thanks to the taller, Progressive Rate Coil Springs. Radius Arm Drop Brackets reset the pivot point and keep the travel linear for the best ride while the Sway Bar Link Drop Brackets Kit resets the sway bar engagement point. The End Link Kit is listed as an "option", but it's necessary to run. Bump Stop Drops protect the shocks from over-compressing, the Adjustable Track Bar centers the front axle and Stainless Brake Lines firm up braking and ensure there is enough line for the newfound travel. To round off the front end, Carli includes Caster Shims to help achieve proper caster. While other "lifts" may cheap out on all these parts, Carli includes everything you need for the best ride and geometry possible.
The Commuter is the beginning of Carli's no-compromise, custom tuned suspensions. The 4.5" lift variation was tuned with the Progressive Add-a-Pack atop the Carli Fabricated 2" Block. The Add-a-Pack installs in place of the lower, factory overload spring to increase small bump sensitivity while maintaining payload and towing spec. The custom tuning in the rear Carli SPEC 2.0" shock is optimized to control the combination of a Carli full replacement leaf pack or Progressive Add-a-Pack combined with the factory main pack, so we don't advise using the stock leaf packs with this system.
