The Crown Automotive Heavy Duty Steering Shaft is for manual steering CJ Jeeps with front mounted steering gears. This HD replacement shaft is the same 34.5" length as the factory, but the bearing end has been changed to a u-joint for greater strength and better flex. This a replaces steering shaft OEM Part # J5353135. Installs into the factory locations using hand tools. For manual steering applications only!
  • Factory Fit : Installs in manual steering systems without modification, measures OE 34-1/2"
  • HD Construction : Sturdy u-joints used on both ends for increased strength, no bearing end used.
