The mounting arms are lined internally by poly sleeves that envelope the outer part of the hinge. Each arm is furnished with a threaded central post for a secure and stable mounting. The thermoplastic sleeve prevents metal on metal contact to prevent scratching the surface of the hinge. The kit comes with anti-theft lock nuts for additional security.
