Maximizes Torque and HP. With a set of AFE’s Twisted Steel Shorty Headers, you’re guaranteed to feel a significant boost in your Jeep Wrangler’s engine performance. This header assembly provides up to 6 horsepower and torque gains. These headers are equipped with mitered collectors to deliver a true pulse control technology. Unlike the usual formed collector style, these collectors will effectively minimize turbulence and allow a free exhaust flow.

Keeps Stock Cat Converters. These Twisted Steel Shorty Headers are tuned to work with your Wrangler JK’s factory catalytic converters. With these stock cat converters, you don’t have to worry about violating any existing emissions regulations.

Expert Design and Construction. Each of these Twisted Steel Shorty Headers is made of 1.5-inch, 14-gauge, 409 stainless steel. These headers are further reinforced by OE style flanges that are 3/8-inch thick to deliver a true leak-free seal.  In addition, these headers have smooth curves and a wide diameter design to remove restrictive conditions and ensure a smooth gas flow. This header design guarantees to provide superb engine performance and durability.

No CARB Certification. These headers are not CARB certified and therefore not legal for use in California or on any vehicle that is currently registered with the California Department of Motor Vehicle. In addition, these headers may only be used for racing competition and in no circumstance may be used for highway, street, or non-racing off-road driving.

Installation Notes. AFE’s Twisted Steel Shorty Headers are designed for a direct bolt-on installation. AFE recommends using spark plug wire boot protectors and gaskets for added protection.

Application. You can install AFE’s 1-1/2-inch Twisted Steel Shorty Headers on all 3.8L Jeep Wrangler JK models released between 2007 and 2011.
