This intake delivers 76% more airflow than the factory airbox increasing the horsepower level up to 15 horsepower and increasing the torque by up to 17 foot pounds. The AFE Momentum GT Pro 5R Stage-2 Intake System is ideal for Wrangler owners wanting more power for off-road adventures.
No Tune Required. This AFE Momentum GT Pro 5R Stage-2 Cold Air Intake is designed to improve the performance of your TJ Wrangler without the need of reprogramming your Jeeps computer. By utilizing state of the art computer-aided designs, this AFE Intake will increase power using the factory tune. Even though a re-tune is not required for operation, ExtremeTerrian recommends a custom tune to reprogram the vehicles computer (ECU) to get the best possible performance from this intake.
Pro 5R Air Filter. The included Pro 5R air filter is engineered to effectively filter out minuscule power robbing particulates while maintaining excellent air flow. Pro 5R air filters feature a polyurethane frame with 5-layers of progressively finer mesh cotton gauze oiled media to ensure superior filtration and outstanding engine protection. Best of all, the Pro 5R air filter is re-usable - just wash, re-oil and re-use.
Unique Air Box Design. This AFE Momentum GT Cold Air Intake features a custom CAD designed one-piece roto-molded air intake housing to increase airflow. The Momentum GT air box outflows the factory intake by an impressive 76%.
Straight Forward Installation. Designed to be a direct fit replacement for the factory intake, this AFE Momentum GT Pro 5R Stage-2 Intake System installs with just basic hand tools. No extra modifications or special tools are required for an easy 1 hour installation. All necessary parts and instructions are included.
