Enhanced Outflow. The AFE Twisted Steel Shorty Headers were designed to provide enhanced outflow compared to the OEM exhaust manifold. It significantly augments horsepower by 7hp and torque by 9 lbs. x ft.
TIG Welding. AFE uses TIG welding to manufacture a product that is made to last. They use high-caliber 14-gauge 409 stainless steel tubing. This construction maximizes the performance due to the CNC mandrel bent design. It features a superior quality corrosion resistant finish. The flange gasket has aluminum fire rings to create a leak-proof seal.
Basic Installation. This header has a simple installation process that can be completed with basic hand tools. You won’t need to do any modifications. All the required hardware and parts are included.
Limited Lifetime Warranty. AFE provides a limited lifetime warranty on this header. Review the manufacturer’s warranty information to ascertain what specific exclusions apply.
CARB Certified. This header can be used legally in all fifty states and the Carb EO# is D-550-12.
Application. The AFE Twisted Steel Shorty Headers are designed to fit all 1991-1999 4.0L Jeep Wrangler YJ and TJ models.
