Description

Built to outperform BDS Suspension engineered a 5.5-inch lift kit with 4-Link conversion for your RAM 3500 gas powered truck that will surely impress. Designed to improve stance performance and capability this kit includes everything necessary to set your truck up right with clearance for up to 37" tires.

Up front the lift kit includes gas-specific Pro-Ride coil springs 4-Link control arms with conversion mounts forged drop pitman arm and track bar bracket for steering correction bump stops brake line brackets and precision tuned FOX 2.0 nitrogen charged shocks.

In the rear this kit utilizes a high-strength fabricated lift block longer u-bolts and a matching set of FOX 2.0 Performance shocks.

4-Link Conversion

Convert the factory stamped steel radius arms over to the BDS 4-link to optimize suspension geometry for better handling characteristics while adding strength and stability. This bolt-on upgrade utilizes high-strength 1/4-inch steel brackets that allow mounting of HD upper and lower control arms to correct axle positioning while limiting caster change throughout wheel travel.

Pro-Ride Coil Springs

A pair of full-length gas-specific progressive rate Pro-Ride coil springs are supplied to provide the correct lift height and smooth predictable ride across various terrains.

Steering Correction

To optimize steering geometry once lifted a forged drop pitman arm is used to minimize the steering angle and pair it with a heavy duty track bar drop bracket to keep them in phase through suspension travel while recentering the front axle.

Features

  • Heavy duty 4-link improve strength handling and caster control
  • Front high strength progressive rate coil springs for a great ride on any terrain
  • Front track bar relocation bracket to re-position axle
  • Forged drop pitman arm to correct steering angles
  • Front sway bar correction to maintain handling performance
  • HD transmission crossmember and t-case indexing ring to correct front driveline angles and allow use of factory driveshafts
  • BDS FOX performance series IFP gas shocks to improved ride and offroad performance
  • Block Kit: Blocks are made from cast iron for strength, Tapered for correct pinion angle, Steel pin and hole are offset to restore axle position.
  • FOX 2.0 Performance Series: 2-inch Impact extruded aluminum body, Internal floating piston (IFP) monotube design, CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum mounting ends, Massive 5/8-inch hard chrome plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft, Race-developed high-flow piston design, Application-specific valving to maximize performance, Long-lasting clear anodized finish

Notes

  • 6.4L gas models will require exhaust modification to clear the front driveshaft. 5.7L gas models may require exhaust modification as well. The vehicle can be driven without the front driveshaft to an exhaust shop for modifications to be made before reinstalling the driveshaft.
  • The carrier bearing drop is necessary for models equipped with two-piece rear drive shaft.
  • Some vehicles may require a rear driveshaft spacer kit 122007 to maintain adequate rear driveshaft engagement
  • DRW models fit inner wheel clearance to the upper u-bolt plate on 5.5-6" kits
