Description

BDS steps up the performance and capability of the Jeep Wrangler YJ with a 5-inch suspension lift kit. Designed to improve stance this kit includes everything necessary to set your truck up right with clearance for up to 33" tires.

This 5-inch lift kit includes front and rear Glide-Ride leaf springs with new u-bolts front and rear track bar relocation brackets to center the axle stainless steel braided brake lines sway bar disconnects power steering pitman arm bump stop extensions and a transfer case drop kit to ease the drive line angles. Round out this kit with specially tuned NX2 nitro series gas shocks to offer improved damper performance.

Glide-Ride Leaf Springs

Built to outperform BDS engineered the Glide-Ride leaf springs into a multi-leaf progressive spring rate design that provides a smooth ride with any load. This is accomplished with an exclusive triple-stage leaf spring design. These spring feature tapered leafs anti-friction pads bolt style leaf alignment clamps and a full military wrap to protect your spring eyes from the rocks. Upgrading to BDS Glide-Ride leaf springs will provide flexibility throughout the suspension cycle.

Notes

  • May require a larger diameter driveshaft if equipped with a 41-1/2" front driveshaft.
  • A slip yoke eliminator and dual cardan style rear driveshaft is required.
  • Extended shackles are recommended to clear the military wraps on the springs.
  • Pitman arms will NOT fit YJ models equipped with manual steering.
