Description

Built to outperform upgrade your Ford F-250/F350 Super Duty diesel powered truck with this 5-inch radius arm lift kit and FOX 2.5 Performance Elite Coil-over conversion from BDS Suspension. Designed to improve stance performance and capability this kit includes everything necessary to set your dually truck up right with clearance for up to 37" tires.

Up front the lift kit includes diesel-specific FOX 2.5 coil-over shocks heavy duty replacement radius arms forged drop pitman arm and track bar bracket for steering correction sway bar relocation and brake line brackets.

In the rear this kit utilizes a high-strength fabricated lift block longer U-bolts brake line brackets and a matching set of FOX Performance shocks.

FOX Performance Elite Coil-Over
FOX 2.5 Performance Elite shocks offer next level performance for on-road comfort and off-road comfort capability. Tuned and ready to install right out of the box these bolt-on 2.5-inch diameter shocks are built for abuse and packed with race-proven technology. They include a remote reservoir for additional fluid capacity to keep your shocks running cool so you can push the limits in the rough terrain. The DSC adjuster adds remarkable versatility and precise tuning with a simple twist of either two adjuster knobs offering 10 separate low-speed and 12 high-speed compression levels with a black anodized aluminum reservoir to increase cooling efficiency.

HD Radius Arms
In place of the factory stamped steel radius arms BDS supplies a pair of high-strength tubular radius arms. These arms mount into the factory location and offer caster adjustment for a wide range of lift heights along with an OE-style rubber bushing at the frame mount for smooth quiet service-free operation.

Steering Correction
To optimize steering geometry once lifted a forged drop pitman arm is used to minimize the steering angle and pair it with a heavy duty track bar drop bracket to keep them in phase through suspension travel while recentering the front axle.

Notes

  • This kit is not compatible with trucks equipped with radius arm mounted ride height sensors.
  • Ford recommends the replacement of the pitman arm nut after each time it has been removed.
  • Use a small pitman arm puller to remove the drag link joint and steering stabilizer taper.
  • If your truck is equipped with a 2-piece rear driveshaft a Carrier Bearing Drop Kit may be required: BDS123402.
  • Due to the taller factory ride height Tremor models will not net full advertised lift height. Final ride height will be the same as standard models.
  • Larger tires on stock wheel are not recommended due to interference with brake line radius arm and sway bar. Use recommended specs listed in wheel and tire fitment section.
  • Minor trimming may be necessary for clearance of 37x12.50 tires on certain wheel setups.
  • Installation requires a torque wrench capable of 406 ft-lbs.
  • Trucks without top mounted overload springs will require (4) UBT4028.
