Description
Improve the stance performance and capability of your Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500 HD 4WD with a BDS 6.5-inch lift kit. For maximum ground clearance BDS designed a No Torsion Bar Drop System where the torsion bars are mounted directly to the top of the lower a-arm eliminating the need to drop the torsion bar cross-member. This kit includes everything necessary to set your truck up right with clearance for up to 37" tires.
This kit takes advantage of BDS's tried and true high-clearance design for improved ground clearance strength and offroad protection while correcting suspension and steering geometry for great on-road handling characteristics. Up front the kit utilizes torsion bar relocation brackets high-arched 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers along with a multipiece differential relocation brackets and heavy duty skid plates built for offroad protection. Steering geometry is corrected at the new taller ride height with CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles. These combined with the provided sway bar links bump stop extensions stainless steel brake lines CV spacers supplied hardware and more provide a comprehensive front suspension lift ready for whatever you throw at it.
In the rear BDS offers replacement lift blocks to lift and level that stance. The lift block installs in place of the stock block and retains ride quality and load capacity. Also for the rear is a u-bolt flip kit for max clearance and precision tuned FOX 2.0 Performance Series shocks.
High Clearance Crossmembers
BDS maximizes ground clearance with their heavy duty 1/4-inch thick laser cut perfect fit crossmembers. Paired with a front skid plate system that bolts together to create a rigid subframe while adding extra protection.
Heavy Duty Steering Knuckles
BDS corrects steering geometry at the new taller ride height using a pair of high-strength CNC machined ductile cast iron steering knuckle design to work with factory tie rod ends to maintain steering angles for proper function.

Notes
- Torsion Bar Tool required to load/unload the torsion bars.
- 3" rear block kit recommended for dually applications 5" rear block kit will not fit dually applications.
- Stock 17" & 18" wheels cannot be reinstalled.
- Stock 20" x 8.5" wheels with 6.18" backspaing MAY fit with a max tire size of 37x12.50 on certain tire sidewall profiles due to clearance to the steering knuckle and sway bar. A minimum 1/4" wheel spacer may be required due to tire side wall profile variations. A wider tire will cause clearance issues with the steering knuckle.
- Factory dually wheels cannot be reinstalled.
- Models with two piece rear driveshaft may require #121612.
- If minor front driveline vibration occurs at highway speeds while in 4wd and the vehicle will be used in this situation on a regular basis we recommend replacing the front driveshaft with a dual Cardan style driveshaft.
