If you are going to do a lot of off-roading the Backbone from Body Armor 4x4 is an essential accessory to have for your Jeep. This handy 4-in-1 tool acts as a skid plate, wheel chock, recovery point & a step fitting right into your 2" hitch. Made of 1/4" heavy duty steel the Backbone is treated with a e-coat finish to withstand the harsh environment protecting it from corrosion.

Skid Plate (12"x6.5"): Acts as a skid plate protecting your hitch, rear bumper & trailer wiring.

Step (12"x2"): Fits into any factory or aftermarket 2" hitch receiver acting as a non-skid step for when you need to reach up to get your camping gear, kayak or anything else you might have on your roof rack.

Recovery Point: The Backbone also acts as a recovery point, just wrap a tow strap around it to help your fellow off road friends out of a jam on the trails.

Wheel Chock: Simply take the Backbone out and it acts as a wheel chock for when you need to work on your Jeep or winching.
