Increase Airflow for More Power. Improve the performance of your JT Gladiator by upgrading to a Corsa DryTech 3D Closed Box Air Intake System. By replacing your Jeep's restrictive factory intake and paper air filter with Corsa's closed air box and free flowing DryTech 3D Dry Air Filter assembly you will see an increase in horsepower, torque and acceleration. Corsa designed their Intake to improve air flow and reduce intake temperatures which will help your 3.6L engine make more usable power as well as increase its fuel economy. A Corsa DryTech 3D Closed Box Air Intake is perfect for all Gladiator owners that are looking to give their Jeep a boost in performance.
Closed Air Box Design. Corsa engineered their Closed Air Box Intake with two objectives in mind, to increase airflow and reduce intake temperatures. This Corsa Intake was specifically designed to increase the volume of air entering in to the engine to increase performance. This closed air box is also better able to insulate the cooler incoming air from under hood heat soak, effectively reducing the air intake temperatures when compared to open element intakes. DryTech 3D Dry Air Filter. The included DryTech 3D air filter is engineered to effectively filter out minuscule power robbing particulates while maintaining excellent air flow. DryTech 3D dry air filters feature a unique pleating geometry along with specialized hydrophobic polysynthetic fibers to ensure superior filtration and outstanding engine protection. Best of all the DryTech 3D air filter is good for up to 50,000 miles between maintenance intervals (depending on driving conditions) and is 100% re-usable; just vacuum or wash and re-install.
No Tune Required. Corsa Performance engineered their Cold Air Intake to improve the performance of your Jeep Gladiator without the need of reprogramming your computer. By utilizing flow dynamics, this Intake will increase power using the original factory tune. Even though a re-tune is not required for operation, ExtremeTerrain recommends a custom tune to reprogram the vehicles computer (ECU) to get the best possible performance from this Cold Air Intake.
Straight Forward Installation. Designed to be a direct fit replacement for the factory intake this Corsa Closed Box Cold Air Intake installs with just basic hand tools. No extra modifications or special tools are required for an easy 1 hour installation. All necessary parts and instructions are included.
Not CARB Certified. This Corsa Performance Closed Box Air Intake is not CARB certified, therefore it is not legal for use in California or other states adopting California emission standards. Not legal for use on pollution controlled motor vehicles; not intended for highway use.
