Eliminate Hood Flutter. Daystar Hood Hold Down Bodies are designed to secure your Wranglers hood to prevent noise, flutter or shake, regardless of the driving speed. These Hold Down Bodies are the perfect replacement for your Jeeps old, worn out factory rubber holds. So, if you're looking to make your latch tighter and more secure, you need to pick up a set of Daystar Hood Hold Down Bodies.
High Quality Polyurethane. Manufactured in the USA, these Daystar Hood Hold Down Bodies are molded from a heavy-duty polyurethane material. Much stronger and more resilient than the stock OEM rubber versions, these polyurethane Hold Downs will provide a positive lock that keeps your hood securely shut on the street and on the trail.
Straight Forward Installation. These Daystar Hood Hold Down Bodies are designed to be a direct fit replacement for the factory hold downs. Unlatch the hood, and then simply unbolt the stock hold downs from the upper and lower latches. Then reverse the process to install your new Daystar Hold Downs with the included hardware. To make things even easier it is recommended to install these Hold Down Bodies in 70 degree or warmer weather.
Go Everywhere Limited Warranty. Daystar® warrants to the initial retail purchaser that these Hood Hold Downs shall be free of defects in material and workmanship for so long as they are properly installed on a single vehicle owned by the initial retail Daystar® purchaser. Some exclusions may apply, please see manufacturer's warranty for details.
