Quality and Performance. The Factor 55 FlatLink is manufactured from precision-machined 6000-series aluminum giving it a 16,000-lb. max load rating and a 40,000-lb. ultimate failure rating. When folded flat it's less than 1.75" thick and weighs only 23 ounces. It's also equipped with a EPDM rubber guard to protect alloy fairleads and cushion as you stow your line.

Improves Safety. This product fits both steel cables and synthetic winch ropes. The simple snap ring for the shear pin provides safe and easy operation. Many winch hooks will let their line loose if they see slack, even just for a moment. The D-ring style of the FlatLink prevents lines from slipping out even if slack appears in the line.

Installation. The install process is straightforward for this part. It's compatible with all roller fairlead license plate mounting brackets. The ring removal for the shear pin is a simple snap.
