The go-to shackle mount for the toughest recovery jobs, the Factor 55 ProLink XXL (Gray) has the brawn to stand up to stresses far beyond what hauling your ride out of a mud pit is ever likely to generate. This ultra-beefy shackle mount offers a working load maximum of 24,000 lbs or 12 tons, and does not break until subjected to 63,000 lbs of force or more. Its EPDM synthetic rubber guard lets you pull it strongly against the fairlead without damaging the finish, and eliminates shackle rattle, while the mounting hole accommodates 3/4” or 7/8” D-rings or screw pin shackles, enabling a much more secure “hold” on the recovery straps than a winch hook offers.

Premium Construction Characteristics. Solid billet aluminum construction – the ProLink XXL is machined to precise tolerances – combines with a hard powder-coat gray finish to create a massive shackle mount that will survive far beyond its warranty. This USA-made component captures 1/2” steel or synthetic winch cables/ropes with a 3/4” titanium shear pin that opens and closes with a handy snap ring. The metal used in this product is military grade 6000 series Kaiser aluminum.
