GlowShift's White 7 Color Series 1500 degrees F Pyrometer EGT Gauge is essential for any diesel truck that is driving long distances or pulling heavy loads, ensuring your exhaust temperature is not running too hot which could result in engine failure. The White 7 Color Gauge Series includes the ultra-bright LED solid color modes Blue, Green, Red, Teal, Yellow, Purple and White. With GlowShift's 7 color LED through dial lighting system you can select and change the color of your gauge lighting display by simply pressing the button located along the front of the gauge. An EGT exhaust gas temperature gauge is considered one of the most important turbo diesel truck gauges, especially since excessive exhaust gas temperature can cause severe damage to a diesel turbo engine. EGT Pyrometer gauges for trucks with readings up to 1500 degrees correspond to most diesel trucks, with this gauge typically being enough to cover the range regardless of the size of the diesel engine. Exceptions would be big turbo builds with a lot of fuel, and some race truck applications would also require higher readouts because of how the truck runs. The 1500 is even designed for larger diesel truck engines that are traveling longer distances and towing heavy loads: factors which can at times put more stress on the engine and generate higher exhaust gas temperatures.
