This design, when combined with the carrier’s included reinforcement plate, allows you to safely carry up to a 40-inch spare. This carrier also features a Delrin alignment bushing for smooth operation and a Heim joint linkage that tethers the assembly to your tailgate. This feature enables you open and closes the tailgate and carrier simultaneously.
