More Horsepower and Torque. The K&N Series 63 AirCharger Cold Air Intake and Snorkel System replaces your Wrangler JK's performance-robbing stock air box and paper filter element with a high-flow K&N filter, a free-flowing high-density polyethylene intake tube in black, and a unique snorkel system. The low-restriction snorkel system draws in air from an optimal location so you can drive your Jeep Wrangler in the harshest conditions, and the cold air intake provides significant gains in throttle response, 6.58 HP at 5200 RPM and TQ, all while filtering out damaging particles.
No Tune Required. This AirCharger Cold Air Intake and Snorkel System is designed to provide more power to your Jeep Wrangler without any reprogramming required. This saves you time and the air intake increases power using the factory tune. Although a re-tune is not necessary for operation, a custom tune to reprogram your Wrangler's internal computer is still recommended to achieve the best results possible from this intake.
Oversized K&N Filter. The included K&N cotton gauze air filter is oversized and built to provide excellent filtration of power-robbing particles. The result is more usable power and acceleration, thanks to cleaner air - and more of it. Plus, the red filter with chrome top is attractive, washable, and reusable.
Superior Functionality. K&N designs a rational-molded air box, inlet tube and snorkel system with superior functionality, great fit, and easy setup. The air box is enclosed, separating it from the hot engine, and a removable air box lid makes removing the chrome-tip air filter easy to wash and reuse. The aerodynamically designed intake tube smooths and straightens air flow before it reaches the throttle body, providing more flow for more usable power.
Straight-Forward to Install. K&N crafts this AirCharger Cold Air Intake and Snorkel System to be relatively easy to install with just basic hand tools. All parts and hardware for the installation come in this complete kit. The Snorkel System will require some minor cutting and drilling to complete the installation.
Limited Warranty. K&N backs its Air Intake Kit with a million mile limited warranty when used primarily on paved roads. Please see the manufacturer's page for full terms and conditions of coverage.
Not CARB Certified. This K&N Cold Air Intake is not currently CARB certified and, thus, it is not legal to use in California or other states adopting California's emission regulations.
