It features a free-flowing muffler design that improves airflow for that full and robust exhaust growl that will turn everyone’s heads. Moreover, the free-flowing design also minimizes backpressure for fuel efficiency and increase torque and horsepower output.
Enhances Exhaust Performance. This cat-back exhaust system delivers torque and horsepower gains for your truck. With the high-flow design of the muffler, the air can flow much more smoothly to enhance exhaust performance. Your truck will also have less emissions and become more fuel-efficient, thanks to the minimized backpressure. Apart from these performance boosts, the improved airflow also makes your truck sound louder and more aggressive without the cabin drone.
Engineered From 16-Gauge, Aluminized Steel. To make sure that it can provide excellent performance for a fraction of the cost, MBRP chose 16-gauge aluminized steel for this exhaust system. Aluminized steel is lightweight, yet strong and durable, and also has satisfactory corrosion resistance. The tubes sport a 2.5-inch inlet and 3-inch outlet, and are mandrel-bent for smoother, more even curves. This results in unrestricted airflow for less turbulence and lower operating temperatures.
High-Shine Polished Finish. This system has a high-shine, polished surface finish. This provides not just a great-looking shine, but also enhanced wear-and-tear resistance since there are no impurities on the surface. The turn-down tip is also similarly polished for a uniform look and an eye-catching style.
Simple Bolt-On Installation. There’s no need for welding, drilling, or cutting to mount this exhaust system to your truck. Simply follow the enclosed instructions and use the recommended tools, including a lift or a jack and jack stands, to accomplish the installation in about 2 hours.
