After it’s installed, the thermostat works to increase your cooling efficiency, whether your 2003 or 2011 2.4L or 3.8L Jeep Wrangler is cruising down the freeway or climbing over rocky terrain. Once your engine warms up fully as you ride, this low-temperature thermometer opens up and lower temperature compared to factory thermostats. The difference is 180 degrees Fahrenheit to the standard 195 degrees Fahrenheit.

Optimal Air Flow. The Mishimoto Racing Thermostat’s low-temperature activation allows coolant to flow through the engine much sooner than a factory thermostat allows. The result of the improved air flow is an increase in reliability and a reduction in engine wear. That means better performance for a longer life.
