Upgrade Required. If you are currently using a 3.73 gear ratio, you will need to buy a new rear carrier. If a 3.53 or 3.07 gear ratio is currently in use, you will need to buy new front and rear carriers.

Professional Installation Recommended. Installation of this 30F/44R Ring Gear and Pinion Set requires an advanced level of mechanical knowledge and the use of some specialist equipment. For this reason, Motive recommends that installation is completed by a fully trained technician.

Warranty. Motive Gear provides a limited 1-year/50,000 mile manufacturer’s warranty for this Ring Gear and Pinion Set, which guarantees that it is free from defects in materials and construction.

Application. This Motive Dana 30F/44R Complete Ring Gear and Pinion Kit is compatible with all 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ models, excluding Rubicon models.
