Upgrade Kit. If you would like to upgrade your gears, then this Motive Dana 44 Rear Ring Gear and Pinion Kit will fit the bill to give you a new and improved driving experience. It is made from premium quality materials and is the perfect solution for Wranglers with a 4.09 gear ratio, standard ring gear rotation, and that have need of a 26-spline pinion and 10 ring gear bolt components.

Quality Construction. This Motive Gear Dana 44 Rear Ring Gear and Pinion Kit is constructed from high-quality, durable 8620 steel. This makes this kit hard-wearing and ideal for allowing you to enjoy many miles of off-roading in your Wrangler.

Installation. It is recommended that this 8.5 inch Dana 44 Rear Ring Gear and Pinion Kit from Motive Gear is installed by a professional unless you have the required mechanical expertise, and it should take approximately 4 hours to fit.

Note. Wrangler TJ models may require use of a 3/8” ring gear bolt carrier.

1-year/50,000 Mile Warranty. Motive Gear offer a 1-year or 50,000-mile warranty on this item, whichever comes first, and it covers parts against manufacturing defects. Exceptions apply, please see manufacturer’s warranty for details.

Application. This Motive Dana 44 Rear Ring Gear and Pinion Kit is constructed to fit all 1987-2006 Jeep Wrangler YJ and TJ models with a 4.09 gear ratio (excluding Rubicon vehicles).

Note. These Motive Dana 44 4.09 gears will require a carrier of 3.92 or higher.
