Ideal for Recovery Operations. The Overland Vehicle Systems 5/8-Inch Soft Shackle and Recovery Ring Combo Kit is the ideal recovery tool for winching and strapping. This Soft Shackle and Recovery Ring combo replace traditional snatch blocks. This unique setup is much safer than the outdated snatch blocks because it doesn’t store kinetic energy like traditional rigging which could be catastrophic if a failure occurs.

Dyneema Soft Shackle. Overland Vehicle Systems manufactures their Soft Shackle from Dyneema which is a low-friction, UV stable, synthetic fiber rope. Dyneema rope is so strong that an equivalent wire rope would be three times as thick. This Soft Shackle with Loop features a working load of 15,000 pounds with a breaking strength of 44,000 pounds.

Aluminum Recovery Ring. Overland Vehicle Systems manufactures their 6.25-inch Recovery Ring from T6 6061 aircraft grade aluminum making it 50% stronger and 50% lighter than traditional steel snatch blocks. This Recovery Ring features a breaking strength of 45,000 pounds.
