Intake. The polished mandrel bent aluminum intake tube can resist air turbulence because of its precisely placed wide bends. Not only does the high-flow conical design draw in a massive amount of air, but those multiple layers also filter out dirt particles so small, you can't even see them with your naked eye. And when it comes time to get rid of all that dirt, all you have to do is wash it with plain water. You never have to oil it, or buy special soap.

Additional Features. The Rugged Ridge cold air intake is designed to give V6 Wrangler JK owners as much as 10 extra horsepower, 12 more ft-lbs of torque and 10% better fuel economy. Of course, results will vary depending on your particular Jeep, and road / terrain conditions. But you'll certainly feel a difference in the throttle response once you install it. And it's designed by the Jeep experts at Omix-Ada (they make OEM Jeep replacement parts), so it'll withstand as much abuse as a factory Jeep part.
