Construction. Made from 3/16 inch steel, this Rugged Ridge skid plate was specially designed for optimal protection of the factory installed differential cover. It's finished with a black powder coat to give it that rugged, durable Jeep look.

Protection. Your differential cover needs protection, and these heavy duty skid plates were built for the job. They're specially designed to fit the counters of your differential cover exactly, and help slide over obstacles without damaging your Jeep - or slowing you down. Replacement mounting hardware and detailed instructions are included.

Application. Fits 1984-2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ Models. A simple bolt-on construction using factory mountings can be completed by virtually anyone. All necessary installation hardware is included.
