Construction. Constructed out of high-quality ABS plastic, these Door Handle Recess Guards are UV treated so they won't easily fade or crack from sitting in the sun. Like the other plastic bits on your Jeep, the clean up nice and resist scratching. A double-sided tape is included for installation, with automotive-grade adhesive that's designed to hold up under constant exporsure to extreme temperatures and dust.

Installation. This is one of the easiest modifications for a Jeep. There are absolutely no tools needed, but you do have to clean the area around the handles, plus all five exterior handles extremely well. If you don't get all the grime off the paint, plus dry everything super well, the included tape might not work right, so this is critical. You should dry fit each guard before actually trying to install it, just so you're familiar with how to get them behind the handles and how they fit in the recessses. Once you do peel off the protective film from the double-sided tape, press the guards against the doors for about a minute for maximum adhesion, then be cautious with the guards for about 24 hours. After that, you shouldn't have to worry.
