Construction. Forged from unyielding 3/16 inch steel, Rugged Ridge's engine and transmission skid plate prevents rough, rocky, or rutted terrain from ripping out your JK's transmission, oil pan, or steering box. This tough skid plate has a low profile design for the greatest possible ground clearance.

Protection. Rugged Ridge's skid plate is designed to protect sensitive engine parts, the oil pan, and the transmission from the rocks and snags that infect every worthwhile back-country trail. They have a powder coat with e-coating for maximum anti-rust resistance.

Accessories. This skid plate comes with mounting brackets and all necessary hardware.

Application. Some drilling is required for the mounting brackets on 2007 - 2011 JK Wranglers. Full instructions are included, with installation details and list of necessary tools.
