Specs. Rugged Ridge's rear CV driveshaft is for TJ Wranglers equipped with the company's mega short slip yoke eliminator (SYE), Rugged Ridge #18676.72. When you are in the process of raising your suspension by 3.5 to 6 inches to accommodate bigger aftermarket tires, the SYE kit adds a fixed yoke to eliminate vibrations caused by the suspension lift. This tough double cardan driveshaft fits that yoke correctly, completing the modification.

Construction. Rugged Ridge's double cardan rear CV driveshaft for the mega short SYE is protected by a 5 year limited manufacturer's warranty. Top quality construction details include the double cardan U-joints, with two U-joints in place of one for the sturdiness needed to take on the toughest terrain types. The main shaft is short and heavily reinforced, making it bombproof against most of the shocks the world can deal to a Jeep driveshaft. The triple zerk fittings make it a breeze to keep this drive element properly lubricated, and it comes pre-balanced.
