Specifically engineered to take the stresses of off road travel under load, this tire carrier system provides the extreme strength necessary to protect your tailgate from damage. This system is able to manage up to, including, a 37 inch tire on aggressive and bumpy terrain and is compatible with factory as well as most aftermarket bumper options.

Rugged Construction. Crafted from precision die cast aluminum, this tire carrier boasts intense strength without weighing your JK down. Forged steel hinge brackets ensure superior load capacity and reduced wear to your tailgate for improved longevity. The entire kit is tested to MIL-STD-810 to simulate the amplified stress and vibrations of off road travel for enhanced reliability.

Installation and Warranty. This heavy duty tire carrier hinge system includes the tire mount, hinge system and an adjustable third brake light bracket. No drilling or modification is required for installation and additional wiring and connectors are included to extend factory brake light wires. Rugged Ridge backs this system with a 5 year limited warranty to ensure quality craftsmanship.
