Description
Our cold air intake for the Silverado/Sierra 5.3L/6.2L was engineered to minimize air restriction and flows 51.69% better than stock. This kit comes with a fully enclosed airbox that protects the filter from dirt and keeps out engine heat.
Featuring a massive, highly efficient air filter that snaps into the airbox easily and securely, providing an airtight seal. With our new snap in filter design, you can install and inspect your filter in seconds. Comes with a Dry Extendable media.
Our new snap-In lid design requires no screws to secure it to the box. This makes installation and inspection quick and easy. Our silicone edge trim ensures an airtight seal, protecting against unwanted, power-robbing engine heat. (Patent Pending)
The Mass Airflow Sensor is relocated further down the S&B intake tube allowing for further airflow improvements. We got you covered with our included MAF extension harness.
The Cotton Cleanable air filter, coupler, lid seal and plug seal are all made with silicone. Silicone is a premium rubber which will seal better and last longer. It handles temperatures as high as 400F without cracking or tearing and won't deteriorate over time.
Check out the sound of the intake when installed in the truck. A huge air filter and air box results in a more aggressive sound compared to stock.
