For Stronger and Safer Winch Connects. The Smittybilt A.W.S. Aluminum Winch Shackle is a more robust and secure winch hook in comparison to standard winch hooks. It can safely hold up to 17,000 pounds and won't slip, bend or otherwise fail during extreme recovery operations. It's a tough winch point you can count on in all situations.

Solid Construction. This aluminum winch shackle is made from tough and lightweight aircraft grade 6061 T-6 billet aluminum. It is finished in a durable and scratch-resistant, black, powder-coat finish that resists corrosion, rust and fade.

Standard Fit. This Smittybilt unit is compatible with both 3/4-inch and 7/8-inch D-rings and fits on both synthetic ropes or steel cables up to 1/2-inch in diameter. It also works with both roller type and aluminum fairleads. Installation and removal of this shackle is simple and requires no tools.
