Design. The Smittybilt storage bag is a container made to fit over a detached door from a Jeep Wrangler. Fashioned out of 600 denier ballistic nylon, these bags have foam padding in their interior. Each bag includes several carrying straps, including a longer strap allowing an underarm style carry. They are sold in pairs.

Storage Benefits. These storage bags are designed for use with hard doors from 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK models. They enable moving detached doors quickly and easily from place to place, and also serve as a safe place for temporary storage. The exterior 600 denier nylon is a strong protection against rips and environmental hazards, while the inside sports foam padding that keeps the doors' paint reliably intact.

Application. Using these Smittybilt containers begins with removing the hard doors from a Jeep Wrangler. Though some details vary by year, this is usually accomplished by disconnecting the door straps and the wiring harness, then removing the retaining nuts on the hinges using a #45 Torx wrench. The bag is used to cover the door, which is then lifted off and zipped securely inside. These storage bags can be placed upright with the hard door inside - with the door's bottom resting against the floor - or placed flat for greater stability.
