This tire is reinforced with its high turn-up, 3-ply polyester construction on LT-Metric sizes and 2-ply construction on P-/Euro-Metric sizes.

Stone Ejectors. Toyo engineered stone ejectors into their Open Country R/T Tire to protect the tread grooves against stone drilling and puncturing. Stone ejectors also help to shed the mud and stones from the tread grooves to maximize the grip.
