11 Gauge Steel and Powder Coat. Tuffy makes its Hood Lock tough, using 1/8” 11 gauge steel to ensure brute force ain’t gonna do when it comes to getting into your Jeep’s engine bay. The kit is finished in durable powder coat to withstand damage and corrosion. The high-security ten-tumbler double-bitted security key operation can be matched to other Tuff products for greater utility.

Easy No-Drilling Installation. Tuffy makes the Hood Lock super tough but it’s easy to install and requires no drilling. In addition, an optional dust cover sold separately easily keeps the lock secure from dirt and dust.

Lifetime Limited Warranty. Tuffy expects its products to last a lifetime and you should too. If you ever find a defect in the materials or workmanship of your Hood Lock, not including the coating, you’re covered.

Application. The Tuffy Products Hood Lock fits 1997 to 2006 Wrangler TJs. For the 1997 TJ, it works only with a hood-mounted latch hook.
