Crafted using the latest design and manufacturing technologies, this kit will have you quiet running gear that is strong and capable. This performance ring and pinion kit is suitable for street and offroad drivers alike. It includes a Dana 30 front and an AMC Model 35 rear.

Specifications. This version features a ring and pinion ratio of 4.88:1 with a 26 spline count. The entire kit weighs 33.3 pounds.

Advanced Installation. This is a complete kit that includes the front and rear ring and pinion sets, in addition to the most complete master overhaul kits on the market. Yukon gear makes it easy to have everything you need to re-gear the front and rear differential. That being said, this package does require a high level of mechanical expertise, so professional installation is recommended. Installation time is estimated to take about 6 hours.

Limited Warranty. Yukon Gear offers a 1-year limited warranty on its ring and pinion sets. The company warrants that its products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the aforementioned period of time. Some exclusions occur. See Yukon Gear's official website for more details.

Application. The Yukon Gear Dana 30F/35R Ring Gear and Pinion Kit w/ Install Kit - 4.88 Gears will fit any 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ, excluding the Rubicon.

Technical Notes. If you are currently running a 3.54 ratio, you will need to purchase a new front carrier with this package. If you are running a 3.07 ratio, you will need to purchase new front and rear carriers.
