Installation and Gear Specs. This set includes a high-performance ring gear and pinion gear. Yukon's rings and pinion sets deliver the utmost in quality and performance, thanks to their use of only the latest designs and manufacturing technologies. The result is a quietly running gear that's strong and lightweight, with setup in just a few hours. Specifications include a 26 spline count, 8 ring gear bolts and a 4.56 ratio.

Application. The 4.56 Yukon Dana 35 Rear Ring and Pinion Set is designed to fit 1987-2006 Jeep Wrangler YJ and TJ models with a standard rotation AMC Model 35 rear.

Application Note. The Dana 35 4.56 Gears will require the use of a 3.54 and numerically higher carrier or an aftermarket locker. Upgraded carrier is required as factory carrier is not compatible.

Technical Notes. With late model AMC 35's, a 7/16" ring gear bolt is used. With this ring & pinion set, 3/8" bolts are used. To utilize this gear set with a 7/16" carrier, you will need to buy 8 each of these item Yukon part numbers: YSPBLT-008 and YSPBLT-027. Sold separately.
