Centerforce's new flywheels replace the O.E. flywheel with a higher quality, high inertia billet steel flywheel, designed for a direct bolt on replacement. The high inertia design will help the engine maintain its RPM in rough terrain. Centerforce's patented pressure plates feature centrifugal weights that increase compression of the clutch disc between the flywheel and pressure plate as RPMs increase. These kits are designed as OE style direct bolt-in replacements. Dual Friction Kits are recommended for competition driving and the serious off-roader. Dual Friction systems feature a Centerforce II style pressure plate and a dual Friction Clutch Disc.
