Volant designed its new Intake System to replace the restrictive factory air intake and duct on 2012 model Jeep JK Wranglers. The intake system fits the 3.6-liter V-6 engine and combines a high-flow air inlet tube, larger air filter box, and a newly designed polished aluminum lid with a clear window, to easily see the condition of the filter without having to remove it. The Jeep intake system also comes Volant's PowerCore® filtration technology that's maintenance-free, provides up to 99.97 percent filtration efficiency and lasts up to 100,000 miles. The sealed air intake system keeps out hot engine heat but features larger air inlet vents to allow more cold air to get to the filter.
